This old Motel is super basic and was updated around 2001. The little city of Echo here was was established as a railroad town in the mid-1800s. Now it's mostly forgotten - a ghost town if you will. There are many historic sites and a lot of Rich history here at the mouth of Echo Canyon. We are near Coalville, Wanship, Henefer, Morgan, and Park City Utah. We are at the intersection of I-80 and I-84 about 30 minutes from Evanston, Wyoming. We are walking distance to Echo Lake and the dam and about 15 minutes from Rockport Lake. There is super easy access here to ice fishing, boating, skiing, mountain biking and trails. It's kept warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and has your typical refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and mini fridge. Long-term / Extended Stays are available at a different rate. On the Strawberry Gondola base is a small lodge with street tacos and a coffee shop. And then there’s the Mountain. Snowbasin was the site of the 2002 Olympic speeds events. The brave venture to the top of the Olympic Tram to drop into the Grizzly Face at the top. Snowbasin has 3000 skiable acres with 3000 vertical feet and two high-speed gondolas to warm from the bottom to the top of the mountain and over again. Skiers are Snowbasin ski more terrain with low lift line waits (if any) and fast access to the top. We named our cabin "First Tracks" because it's location cannot be beat. Want to carve the first tracks on the slopes? You are minutes away from the amazing Snow Basin ski resort. Want to plow the very first wake in the lake? You are literally walking distance to the boat ramp and the beach! Nestled on the south side of Pineview Reservoir, this cabin offers amazing views of either the lake or the slopes from every window! There are 4 queen beds, two twin roll-aways, two padded foam floor mats for kids and one port-a-crib. Each bed is made up with a goose down duvet to keep you plenty warm and cozy. Master suite has a large balcony and an annex perfect for an office or nursery. Large laundry room with washer and dryer on the main level. The 3 car garage has extra tall clearance and an epoxied floor. There are two fireplaces, one on the main level, and one potbelly stove in the basement. The basement has a ping pong table and a full-sized foosball table. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need including an electric griddle and a 5qt. slow cooker as well as basic dry goods and spices in the pantry. There is a large Traeger Grill on the patio and an outdoor fire pit next to the fenced in lawn. There is wi-fi, a DVD player, an XBOX One console, as well as lots of boardgames and puzzles. The Wild Turkey Lodge is a Bed and Breakfast that can accommodate two adults in a queen bed bedroom with private bath at a nightly rate of $150. More than two adults will require additional bedrooms and an additional expense of $150. By design, the Wild Turkey Lodge Bed and Breakfast only offers two bookings per night with our accommodations. There are four lodging options: a) one cozy bedroom with a queen-sized and private bath (at $150/night plus fees.) b) two comfortable bedrooms with a queen-sized bed and a shared bath (at $300/night plus fees) c) an entire lower level with a comfortable queen-sized log bed, a separate bedroom with two full-sized beds, a full bath, a family room area with a fireplace, game table for 6 people, and a professional pool table (at $325/night plus fees.) This option will work well for a larger family or ski party. d) A fourth option is for a large family to rent all three above described options. This will require a conversation to make sure your group can be accommodated. .(Ask about this option and related fees when calling.) The Lodge is a perfect getaway from your fast-paced work schedule. : We are COVID-19 compliant with masks, cleaning, and social distancing and we will do all we can to maintain the lodge within recommended guidelines.
